Awoken in the dawn of sleep
bombs bursting in mid air
To my naked feet I leap
to investigate the scare
Post 9/11 my nightly drill
one eye open, bed near cell
Last night Lady Liberty and I
were roused by rockets red glare
I grab my digi-cam and snap away
